No.48 How have you been spending the time in quarantine?
IceT:
Um...
It was hard for me to start off because, like yourself,
I'm used to working every day.
Everyone's into their routine, so I had to stop,
and then, psychologically, I was like,
"But everybody's stopping." You know?
But it was rough for at least the first month
because I'm just not used to it.
I'm used to getting up and going.
Jimmy: How is Coco?
Well, they appreciate me being home.
Do they? They appreciate me being home.
And fortunately, I'm not I'm in this
Put it like this. Even though I'm unemployed,
I'm not in the same boat as people
that live from check to check. Oh, yeah.
And I put a little bit of money away for a 'A' day.
I didn't know it was gonna be a 'A' year, though.
Both laugh ]
Jimmy: Yeah, no one planned on this.
No one said a 'A' year.
So, you know, at the end of the day,
I just just I just slow down a lot, you know?
And I try to become creative in other ways.
What you gonna do? What are you gonna do?
Well,
Jimmy:
you have a beautiful family,
so you get to appreciate them, and you watch oh, my gosh
Chanel's gorgeous. She's growing up.
She's four.
And, you know, she gets
Kids 'B' to whatever it is, so you tell them coronavirus,
they go, "Coronavirus."
She puts on her mask first.
I mean, this child believes to go outside, you need a mask
because this is the age she is,
so she doesn't know anything else,
so she's growing up in this situation.
So kids really adapt quicker than we do.
They're not really stuck in their ways.
You know, so she's like, "Daddy's home every day.
This is great. This is cool."
what those 'A','B' would be
