at his kind of lockdown barn situation in Ohio.
How does it feel to perform again live?

Common:
Man, it felt like freedom.
You know, I know you said lockdown,
but it was something about being in Yellow Springs
with Dave, Questlove,
Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli,
Tiffany Haddish, Jon Hamm.
You know, Lamorne Morris. Mohammed.
All these talented and incredible people.
And even the names that aren't 'A',
It just was like It was a joy amongst them.
And for us to be able to be on stage
You know, everybody was socially distanced.
We got COVID tested as soon as we got to Yellow Springs,
so it was a freedom and a security there
that we felt good.
But being on stage was like I just felt at 'B', man.
I felt like, "Oh, this is what I live for,
the joy that I feel and the joy that I can give people.
And so many of us felt that way.
Quest was like, "Man, it felt good to be..."
'Cause he was playing drums...
Everyone's crying while they're playing like...
You know, exactly.
Tiffany was like left off stage
like, "Yo, I feel, like, high."
Like, she was emotional.
Man, we karaoked. Jon Hamm.
We was doing that Journey song on stage, jumping up and down.
It was one of the best times I had in a while.
You know, Dave Chappelle know how to throw a block party,
but this is something on the next level.
