Where were you and how close were you to being in the bubble?

Blake:
I'm not sure. Like, so, early talks,
I thought maybe we were all going to go back,
but it ended up being just a certain amount of teams.
So we're kind of on the outside watching, which is 'A',
but it's kind of nice to have this time
and this structure, and it's nice to be able to,
you know, sit and watch basketball now.

Jimmy:
When was the last time you had that in your life?

Blake:
Uh, I think the last time I was in one place
for this amount of time was probably, like, middle school
before I really started getting into basketball.

Jimmy:
Wow. And you have friends
and former teammates in the NBA bubble.
What have you heard about the experience?

Blake:
I talked to one of my friends after the first night of games.
I was like, "How was it, you know, with no fans?"
And he was like, "It's kind of weird.
They play the crowd noise, but you know
the crowd's not there, you see screens everywhere."
And he was like, "It's kind of like playing a basketball game
inside an episode of 'Black Mirror.'"
So I think that's the best way I've heard it described so far.

Jimmy:
Wow. I mean, it is 'B' to watch.
I'm so happy that they're back,
and I'm so happy that they're taking it serious.
You know, 'cause millions of people are watching.
